Voronezh, Russia


I'm afraid I can't decipher the postmark, dated 5 December 2008.

Voronezh was founded officially over 400 years ago but was in existence at least 300 years before that.  Peter the Great built a fleet there, probably the first in Russia.  The card shows the Assumption Admiralty Church, built 1698-1701.
