It seems today is Memorial Day in the USA, the equivalent of Remembrance Day in the UK and France, both on 11 November, when we remember those soldiers who have given their lives for their countries.
When I hear Normandy..i think of the Normandy landings during WWII.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I visited Normandy, it must be 20 years ago now, the landing beaches were completely undeveloped. I think now it's a different matter.
