Lake Garda/Lago di Garda
Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy. It's northern part is long and narrow, and surrounded by mountains. Nearby is Verona, another UNESCO World heritage Site.

I would LOVE to go to Lago di Garda someday.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a part of Italy I know at all, but I'd love to visit.
ReplyDeleteThis does look beautiful. The closest I've been to any of the Italian lakes is Milan and I know that isn't really close. I am afraid I am running out of years to see all these beautiful places...at 65, I am just blessed that I have seen so much. These postcards, at least, give me a little taste of what I am missing and reacquaint me with some of the wonderful places I've seen!
