I find I recognise many of the place names, including Mackinac Island. A few months ago, in a very untimely way, I posted a
card showing autumn colours.
What an odd-shaped place! Mackinac Island? So out of place in a state whose main preoccupation is the manufacture of automobiles, no?
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the weird thing. Cars banned on the island, and yet Detroit so close by. I'm told the island is beautiful, and a very romantic setting.
