The message on the back tells me that the building is in Forest Park in the centre of St Louis and is a memorial to Jefferson, one of the first presidents of the USA. It is also the history museum with exhibits and a bookstore. The new building is at the back.
The original building was built in 1913, with the new Emerson Center added in 2000.
This blog is a cute idea. I have a lot of postcards from my mother both that she sent to me while she traveled and the ones I found through her estate after she passed away. I hate to throw them all away. Great creative solution that you share with all of us!
