Antigua, West Indies
Postmarked Antigua and Barbuda, dated 9 February 1998.
Antigua, West Indies.
Hawksbill Beach is on the end of a peninsula projecting into the Caribbean Oceanfrom Antigua's western shore. The name derives frmo the unusual shape of the peninsula and its similarity to a hawk's bill. It is the site of the beautiful Hawskbill Hotel.
According to the sender of the card, this is where they stayed and there was something reassuringly shabby about it.
