Giant guard, Bangkok

No postmark.  Sent to me in an envelope 2008.

The Giant Guard in Wat Phra Kaew.

Wat Phra Kaew is one of the most famous temples in Thailand.  The grounds are surrounded by walls almost a mile long, and contain some wonderful examples of statues, shrines and larger buildings, including a miniature of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.  There are two of these giant guards (5 metres high) at each gate.
