The Buckeye may be the official tree of Ohio, but the chocolate and peanut butter Buckeyes are enjoyed by folks from coast to coast.

I haven't tried the recipe. It sounds like a million or so calories per mouthful!
As a Wolverine fan I am not much on Buckeyes but at least you seem to know about what the frauds from Columbus stick on their helmets and that's something. More than what most ladies from across the sea know about real football. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteMmmn! A peanut butter buckeye sounds heavenly! You can't really get peanut butter here in France. I miss it!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I lived in Ohio for 6 years and yes, I love those candy!!!it's yummy!
ReplyDeleteSecond time trying to reply to comments here. I don't know what happened to my last effort.
ReplyDelete@Max, once upon a time I would have had no idea what you were talking about. OK, yes, that often happens, but in the course of looking up facts for this card, I have found out enough to understand you. Roughly. Who knew postcard collecting would be so educational!
@Marie, we used to be able to get peanut butter in and around Paris, in the stores with "foreign" food shelves, but it was always crunchy.
@Fickle Minded, one of these days I'll try making them. Why is it everything yummy is bad for you?
