Teotihuacan, Mexico

Unused.  I bought it myself in 1995.

Piramide del Sol.
Pyramid to the Sun.
San Juan Teotihuacan, México

The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest building in Teotihuacan, and the third largest pyramid in the world.  Teotihuacan itself is an enormous archeological site near Mexico City and was made a UNESCO World heritage Site in 1987.  The earliest buildings are thought to date from 200 BC and the Pyramid of the Sun from 100 BC.

The pyramid is 75 metres (246 feet) high, a long way up.  I did climb up.

  5. It's definitely worth a visit, very definitely. And yes I did climb up. It didn't seem so very hard at the time because I took it gently, but afterwards, when I was told the altitude, well then it did become incredibly hard. With hindsight, I don't know how I did it.
