Bridal Veil Falls, Arthur's Pass
Postmarked New Zealan Post, dated 23 February 2009.
Bridal Veil Falls, Arthur's Pass.
Times of heavy rain truly ensure the Bridal Veil Falls live up to their name.
Arthur's Pass is in the snowy mountains of South Island. Bridal Veil Falls is 60mhigh. Although it isn't so very far from the road, the lie of the land makes it necessary to walk there to see it.

ReplyDelete@Martin, it does look like a veil. So it's not surprising it's a popular name.
@Eddy, might be a little cool for a shower, no? :)
@Jane, hello! I'm glad you like it.
@Max, it does look unspoilt. Once upon a time, we thought of moving there for just that reason.
@RE, I'm embarrassed to admit I had to look both those up. Jamaica? I don't believe I have any Jamaican cards at all....
