The cathedral in Cologne is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was started in 1248 but not completed for over 600 years. In spite of that, the original vision of the finished building was strictly followed, and leaves us today with a wonderful masterpiece of Gothic design.
A masterpiece indeed!
