A card sent from St André de Cubzac in the south west of France in 1993. It shows the method of pressing grapes in the days before mass produced wine. Quatorze juillet, 14th July, is Bastille Day. There will be plenty of wine mass consumed whether mass produced or not.
Ah, the gpod ole days, I love old postcards, they tell so many wonderful stories.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind trying a bottle of wine from these old presses!
ReplyDeleteI would rather stomp on them, so much more fun. The card certainly reflects the times.
