Is this not beautiful? I could sit there all day long. Casletownshend is a small village in County Cork, Ireland. It takes its name from Castle Townshend which is still occupied by the Townshend family, and is NOT the ruin in the picture as I first thought.
I could sit here for a long time too. Unfortunately I would be in rain or drizzle much of the time!
ReplyDeleteI spent an idyllic holiday there about 30 years ago when my children were young. We had the top flat in the Old Customs House across the road from the pub. Wonderful memories. Thansk for reminding me.
ReplyDelete@Viridian, I'm afraid that applies to Ireland too. There is a payment for green. )
ReplyDelete@jakill, I'm so glad it's brought back happy memories! I have another older one somewhere, I must root out.
