Chinatown in Singapore

Chinatown in Singapore is not just, as the card says, a place to shop and eat, but it's also an area with considerable cultural and historical significance, to the extent that it has been declared a national heritage site.  Its existence was first recorded in 1330 which makes it one of the oldest Chinatowns and now one of the largest.

  4. Oh, I've been there!!! I've actually visited Singapore several times...I love it - except that it is on the equator and toooooooo hot!! It's a spotlessly clean city, filled with orchids and wonderful outdoor centers where you can eat every kind of food imagineable, until 3AM in the morning.
