Wildlife from Malaysia, showing a Rhinocerous Hornbill, a Malayan Tiger and an Orang Utan.
A Spotted Dove and Pteroptyx beami
Finally, the Lesser Spotted Airmail Bird.
This is a post for Sunday Stamps, now hosted by Violet Sky at "See it on a Postcard!"
The Rhinoceros Hornbill is the strangest looking bird I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I do wonder how it can fly. Maybe it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I've never seen the Airmail bird. Is it endangered? ;-)
ReplyDeletethanks for participating!
You've got to have a lot of confidence as a bird to be like that hornbill. Wow! The airmail bird stamp is great with its simplicity in design.
ReplyDeleteYes Sheila that bird does have a really weird head.
ReplyDeleteThe bird on the postcard also look like a Toucan.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Sunday Stamp.
The Lesser Spotted Airmail bird is an endangered species as there are no femail bids to mate with!
ReplyDeleteNice multiview postcard, though I prefer singleview, for maximaphily purposes.
ReplyDeleteMalaysia has a very diverse fauna.
On a cruise, I made a stop in several Malaysian ports. I didn't see any of those creatures but there were plenty of rubber trees and lots of grogeous flowers and other birds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love all the orange in the animals. I would love to visit Malaysia one day. The closest I have been is to Singapore.
