Snow in Belarus
I don't know what the words say, but this card from Belarus does look beautiful. I'm very happy to say the snow we've had for the last week or two has now disappeared and I can once again admire snowy scenes - on postcards.
This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday hosted on Beth Niquette's blog The Best Hearts are Crunchy.

That is a lovely scene. Yes, I love snow on postcards too. I have only ever experienced it once in my life and I enjoyed it very much but I have a feeling if I had to go long periods in snow I would surely have a nervous breakdown! I admire anyone who can survive the long harsh winters on the frozen north!
ReplyDeleteOnce is enough. :) I think the secret is that in the frozen north they are well equipped to deal with it whereas here in the UK, especially in the south where I live, it only comes occasionally so we stand and stare for a while, then wish it would go.
DeleteSnowy scenes are beautiful ... especially somewhere else!
ReplyDelete"I don't know what the words say"...
ReplyDeleteThe words on the front side is: "Happy New Year!" on Belarus :-)
Thank you so much! :)
DeleteI have gotten some lovely cards from Belarus thanks to Postcrossing. This one is beautiful. Happy Friday.
ReplyDeleteI love snowy scenes too especially if it isn't any where near me.
ReplyDeleteOh my. That really is pretty and I am glad someone translated for us. I share you sentiments on snow.
