Breakfast, Singapore style
If you visit Singapore you will find this typical breakfast anywhere: local blend coffee with condensed milk, toasted bread with kaya (a sort of jam or spread made from coconut and sugar), lightly poached eggs with pepper and dark soy sauce.
Yum!

ReplyDeleteIt seems an unusual topic for a postcard, but this is just the kind of oddity I like to discover!
Hi Sheila,
ReplyDeleteI think the beau and I should go out for breakfast even just once to try this traditional Singaporean meal. I visit Singapore almost every other 2 months....I've seen another food card from this series -- their famous chicken rice.
I'm delighted you offered to send me postcards from France. :) I'll be in Singapore again in October/November. Let me know if you want postcards from there of from here in the Philippines so we can trade :)
Cheers from Manila,
Maria
Hahahaa...I was on a soft diet, then a liquid diet all day yesterday in preparation for some tests. This postcard made me HUNGRY! lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Postcard Friendship Friday!
That does look good!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen an English breakfast on a pc?
I also like a lot this kind of postcards showing not just architecture but culture!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, I'm hungry now. I love Singapore and their wonderful outdoor food centers with specialties from everywhere.
