Children's Carnival
In Rijeka, the third largest city in Croatia, carnival season is in full swing. It started this year on 17 January and will end on 2 March with the International Carnival Parade. There are all sorts of activities during that time: masked parades, rallies, a masked archery tournament, marathon, and pictured above, a childrens' carnival parade.
I hope they are having better weather than we are at the moment.
This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday hosted on Beth Niquette's blog, The Best Hearts are Crunchy.

What a beautiful card. That is a lot of children in costume, the parade must look spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time.
ReplyDeleteThat is a long lasting carnival!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colors, such elaborate costumes. How very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Postcard Friendship Friday!
This postcard made me smile: what a joy it would be to see that in person. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd may I also comment that you have collected so beautiful and impressive postcards! The cards tell so much about the world, cultures and what is thought to be essential to show from one culture to another. Postcrossing is a great hobby. Perhaps one day you shall receive a card from me too. :D
