Bridal Veil Falls, Arthur's Pass

Postmarked New Zealan Post, dated 23 February 2009.
Bridal Veil Falls, Arthur's Pass.
Times of heavy rain truly ensure the Bridal Veil Falls live up to their name.

Arthur's Pass is in the snowy mountains of South Island. Bridal Veil Falls is 60mhigh.  Although it isn't so very far from the road, the lie of the land makes it necessary to walk there to see it.

  7. @Mike, when I came to look up some information, I discovered that thee are Bridal Veil Falls all over the place. It seems a popular name.

@Martin, it does look like a veil. So it's not surprising it's a popular name.

@Eddy, might be a little cool for a shower, no? :)

@Jane, hello! I'm glad you like it.

@Max, it does look unspoilt. Once upon a time, we thought of moving there for just that reason.

@RE, I'm embarrassed to admit I had to look both those up. Jamaica? I don't believe I have any Jamaican cards at all....

Welcome to my postcard collection! I love hearing what you think of the cards - but spam WILL be deleted.
