Playing catch-up this week, so briefly: here are two views of the same famous mountain, Mount Fuji in Japan. The first is one of the very well known 36 views by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. The second is Mount fuji taken from Mount Shichimen at dawn.
I was in Japan once but did not get to see Mt. Fuji. Have a great rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteWow, the second one really is a photo. It looks so surreal. I love the classic Hokusai card too. It's great to see them side by side.
ReplyDeleteI only saw Fuji from a distance during my two trips to Japan. I wish I could return and realy visit it up close!
