Rýmařov
A female wolf shot by a golden arrow is the emblem of Rýmařov in the Czech Republic. The card shows the emblems of the towns of the region surrounding the town hall. It's a beautiful shaped card, cut around the shields. Miraculously, it arrived intact.
Rýmařov is towards the east of the Czech Republic, not too far from the border with Poland.

It's worth enlarging this to see the detail on the shields - especially the o;d vehicle on the right-had side.
ReplyDeleteThank you for pointing that out - I hadn't noticed! I looked for information about some of the different emblems but couldn't find anything.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, I love all the emblems.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob, for telling about enlarging. I love the shape of the card because of the emblems. :)
