Penguins and Pelicans

Penguin Books have produced a box of 100 postcards called Postcards from Penguin, all of which show a different cover of one of their books dating from the 30s to the 70s.  I have been sent these two over the past months.  No doubt some people will want to collect all of them but I don't think I'll go down that route.  My collecting themes could very soon get out of hand.

  1. Historically interesting, but not eye-appealing.

  2. I think I prefer your regular post cards and the lovely scenes.

  3. I like these cards and will make a point of going to look at them in a bookstore, and will be tempted. It's the vintage (1960s and 1970s)Ladybird book covers that I really really like.
