Further to my post about the haystacks here are the types of hay bale we see more often, I think. The first one comes from Lithuania and I think you can probably guess the second one.

The second one looks like a scene from Lancaster County where Linda & I love to be anytime we get an opportunity.
ReplyDeleteNothing like the oblong bales that I had to lift with a pitchfork in my youth - on to a trailer, off the trailer onto a stack, off the stack into the animal pens. Now it's all done with tractor lifts. Still I'll bet it's easier.
