The Estrada Real, or Royal Road, is a network of roads in the Minas Gerais state of Brazil that date from the colonial times. It is something of a combination of the Route of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Route 66 in the USA. Most of the main roads are paved, but here in this card you can see a rural stretch with cattle at rush hour.
I bet it can get very dusty too
