I received this lovely Europa stamp recently though it dates from 2011 when the Europa theme was forests. The Belarus map has "wonderful forests" marked on it in the south east. See also my cards of various trees including a postcard from the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park. That, though, is in the east of the country.
While I'm on the subject of Europa forest stamps, I'll show one of the French stamps from that series.

ReplyDeleteI like the French stamp with the leaves as well, I am always needing clues when looking at trees and never remember what I am looking at!! The map card of Belarus is also helpful ;)
