Roztocze

Rolling hills of strip fields and forests

UNESCO has described certain areas in the world as Biosphere Reserves, one being West Polesie which covers parts of Belarus, Ukraine and Poland.  Part of the area in Poland is the Roztocze National Park.  It shelters a large number of rare and endangered species.  50% of the area is agricultural land and over 30% is forested.
