A bookish day

On my profile in Postcrossing, I've said that I love cards related to books, reading, libraries (amongst many other things) but I don't really very often receive them or certainly none recently.  So you can imagine my surprise and delight when two arrived at once.

The first is from the Netherlands and the second is from Germany.  But the coincidence goes even further because both images are from the photographer Martina Issler from Zurich in Switzerland, and so introducing a third country, and both produced by the same company, bildreich.ch.

The first is called "sofatag" which I think might translate as "day on the sofa" and the second is "antquariat der literatur, Zurich".

This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday hosted on Beth Niquette's blog, The Best Hearts are Crunchy.

  1. Wow! That is an amazing coincidence. I adore both of these--being a library and book nut myself. (grin)

Have a lovely weekend and happy PFF!

  4. I love both of these, naturally. If I had a room like the second one in my home, I'd never leave it. It reminds me of the room at school that I used to hole up in on Sunday afternoons and study.
