Maps on Monday - flight paths
Three different cards show the flight paths for three different airlines.
The first is Airwork, a British firm founded in 1928, now owned by the US firm VT Group which had its origins in Vosper Thorneycroft, a British firm. A very complicated history.
Next is Interflug which was once the national airline for East Germany. It operated from 1963 to 1990. It was liquidated after the unification of Germany.
Finally the last card was published for Malév, which was Hungary's national airline up until 2012.

I really like the first map. The colours are very original! Wow, you have a big collection of maps on postcards!
ReplyDeleteI must admit I do have a large number of map cards. They are some of my favourites - I always find them fascinating.
