Illinois College, Jacksonville

Postmarked Springfield IL, dated 2004.

Sturtevant Hall, built in 1857 and remodeled in 1993, is the symbolic landmark of Illinois College in Jacksonville. Named for the College's second president, Julian Sturtevant, the historic building houses classrooms and offices for the Education, English and Sociology departments.

This card was sent to me on a postcard exchange arranged by a forerunner of Postcrossing.

  3. Thanks mommy and me, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

My bug life, hi again, it is a lovely shot, i agree. Don't think I've forgotten the award. It's just that I've run out of time and we are going away for a few days. I've just about managed to get some posts scheduled, so I'll do the award tag when I get back :)
