Postmarked London because sent from a ship, dated 5 May 1981 and sent from Aqaba.

The Dome of Jerusalem Rock.

The Dome of the Rock was built between 685 and 691 AD at the centre of the Temple Mount or the Haram al-Sharif.

The message reads:

"We are at Aqaba. We've been drifting up and down for a week as there are over 150 ships here. At last we are alongside another vessel unloading, so we hope to get away next week for Karachi. It will take 9 days."
