A suitably snowy scene for the approach to Christmas (suitable from my point of view but not for those of you from warmer places or the southern hemisphere).
That is absolutely beautiful.

Now this is less than twenty minutes from where I live! (I'm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.) I'm afraid it doesn't look like that now--the rain the past three days has washed away the snow!
