The message tells that the image is a vew of Perth city along the Swan River.  Perth is the capital of Western Australia and apparently one of the most isolated capital cities.

Perth was founded on 12 June 182.  The region was first sighted by a Dutch captain on 10 January 1697 but he and later observers decided it was inhospitable and unsuitable for agriculture.
