Corfe Castle, Dorset
The postmark isn't legible, but it is dated 15 january 2009.
Corfe Castle refers not only to the castle itself but also to the village in the gap below the castle. Corfe is derived from the Saxon word for gap. The castle, now owned by the National Trust, is over 1000 years old, but there is some evidence that the site was inhabited well before that.

This is not far from my home. The castle is very impressive when you drive past right below it on the far side.
