Tintagel: Although more widely known for the ruins of King Arthur's Castle, has many other attractions. The small village originally called Trevena grew up around the 14th century manor house, now called the Old Post Office. It stands in the centre of the village and still holds all the charm and character of days gone by. This lovely old building, built of locally quarried stone, and now owned by the National Trust, can be viewed by the general public.

Tintagel is a fantastic place to visit. There's several caves along the beach, including Merlin's Cave.

@Sandy, At this very minute, there is a fair chance that it too is very white. We've had a few days of winter now. I'm hoping not for much longer.
