Jacob Olie (1834-1905)
Jacob Olie was a well-known Dutch photographer who was a carpenter by trade. He took many pictures of everyday life around Amsterdam. Apart from their artistic merit, he has recorded a changing city. He was nominated in 2004 as one of the 200 greates Dutchmen.
