Kimmo Pälikkö

Another card from Finland which has escaped the postmarking machine.  It is dated 26 June 2009.

The artist who did the painting for this card is Kimmo Pälikkö, a Finnish artist who first held an exhibition at the age of 11, later going on to study art.  1250 different postcards have been produced from his paintings and are great collectors' items, especially in Finland.

What you probably can't see fromthe image is that the card is textured like canvas.  After some considerable sleuthing on the Kimmo Pälikkö site, I have discovered that the building is Köningstedtin kartano.
