The Santo Domingo Church was built between 1571 and 1611 in a baroque style. Here we can see another stunning altar. In fact the whole chapel is an incredible sight. It has to be seen to be believed.
I am sure this postcard image, beautiful as it is, does not catch the beauty of the original.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if you recall that the Battle of Puebla is what Cinco de Mayo commemorates? When the French were driven out of that area.
I am sure you know the date of that battle, at any rate... :)
