The Great Buddha Hall is one of the UNESCO listed buildings for the historic monuments of Ancient Nara. It is the largest wooden building in the world, and houses the world's largest statue of Buddha.

I am very disappointed that I missed this Buddha during my Tokyo stay. I must return to see him!
