Don't be afraid to love

A beautiful card from Finland comes with good advice:
"It took a long time to understand how how easy it is to improve the world: to remember something and forget something, to smile like a child, and not to be afraid to love." - Tommy Tabermann
[corrected after soubriquet's comment, thank you, soubriquet]

The original in Finnish is a poem.  Tommy Tabermann was known, among other things, for writing love poetry. He died last year at the age of 62.

  3. Go to the forest
    Go to the mountains
Go to the far off sea
    Let loneliness
    Caress you
Until your skin is thin enough
    So thin that your heart
    Sees me though it
    That I was the one
    Who caressed you,
    Who caresses you
    Go, go.

  4. @Emm, I love it!

@Soubriquet, sorry, I mis-typed it. I was sent the translation but didn't manage to convey it to the blog correctly. I'll change it now.

At least, I will when I stop reading and re-reading the poem.....
