Hearts and flowers
A lovely and loving picture by the American painter, Mary Cassatt (1845-1926). The title is "A Caress". I always received more Valentines from my sons than anyone else so I felt this was appropriate. :) the stamps proved more of a problem but I found these.
I don't know that these are intended as Valentine's Day stamps but they were all I could find. The following one certainly isn't for Valentine's Day but it definitely is a heart.
This is a post for Sunday Stamps, now hosted by Violet Sky at "See it on a Postcard!"

I like that you included the Purple Heart in this theme! I love it when babies caress you like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet scene and a great choice for today.
ReplyDeleteThe purple heart is interesting. It must be a recent stamp, but I have never seen that stamp or any picture of a purple heart before.
ReplyDeleteI love the Purple Heart stamp. I have never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteThe flower stamps are really pretty. 'Love' as a theme doesn't seem to feature much on GB stamps does it :)
ReplyDeleteI love the first two US stamps and how they twine from one to the other. I'll echo Lisa's comment, wonder is any of the Post Officer Smilers stamps do it.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more precious than a baby's loving touch. Sweet card.
