Reading
"Wer lesen kann is klar im Vorteil!" is a German phrase meaning literally, "Anyone who reads is at a clear advantage", something I'd agree wholeheartedly. According to the person who sent it to me, it can also mean, "Read first, then ask". From my days working in IT support, I feel sure I agree with this interpretation too.

Love that card, and I agree with the translation as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful postcard! I liked learning what this means--and I, too agree with the translation. I remember what it was like in second grade when suddenly I could read. A whole new world opened up for me. Life was never the same.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day and happy PFF!
I couldn’t agree more!
