Reading

"Wer lesen kann is klar im Vorteil!" is a German phrase meaning literally, "Anyone who reads is at a clear advantage", something I'd agree wholeheartedly.  According to the person who sent it to me, it can also mean, "Read first, then ask".  From my days working in IT support, I feel sure I agree with this interpretation too.

This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday hosted on Beth Niquette's blog The Best Hearts are Crunchy.

  2. What a wonderful postcard! I liked learning what this means--and I, too agree with the translation. I remember what it was like in second grade when suddenly I could read. A whole new world opened up for me. Life was never the same.

Have a lovely day and happy PFF!
