The scholar
Elisabeth Bohm (or Elisaveta Bem) was a Russian painter who created over 350 postcards during her lifetime 1843-1914. This is one of a series illustrating each letter of the alphabet.
K is for книжник or scholar. This of course is a modern reproduction of the original. I do wonder if the whole alphabet is available because it would make a lovely collection.
This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday hosted on Beth Niquette's blog, The Best Hearts are Crunchy.
