Gone fishin'
Men fishing off the extreme end of the Île de la Cité in the centre of Paris, and facing the Pont des Arts in the distance. The photo was taken in the 1950s by Charles Ciccione (1912 - 1998). There is now a European photography award in his name.
"Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime." There are a few alternatives to this proverb, if proverb it is, but the one that comes to mind is, "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for the entire weekend".

I've never fished but I do like eating them....just hate the bones.
