Lazy days of summer

I was being lazy in Ireland last week, which would cover August 10th, National Lazy Day in the USA.  However, even though I say it myself, I was being quite active climbing the Hill of Howth, just north of Dublin.

The card is one I bought while there but I sent it to myself in the end. Céad Míle Fáilte means "welcome", or literally "a hundred thousand welcomes".  It's a good many years since I was there, not since I left school in Dublin, but I must say I found everyone very welcoming.

This is a post for Postcard Friendship Friday, hosted by Beth at The Best Hearts are Crunchy. You can visit her to see if she was lazy or not.

  1. I am glad you kept this card because it's so cool how it has so much on that card. I love the Irish dancers and seeing the castles and a windmill.

  2. A few years ago, I walked the Wicklow Way near Dublin with my eldest son. It was a beautiful trail and a great experience. Ireland is beautiful and Dublin is a fantastic city, with wonderful museums, great pubs and of course James Joyce.

    Happy PFF!

  3. Ah, sweet Friend...the lazy days of summer. I have been out of town for a few days, and for most of next week. Lazy lazy days of summer don't last long, that's for sure! I adore this postcard. I wish I could visit there, as Paul has. Have a blessed weekend, dear Lady. ((hugs)) Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!
