Today, 8 March, is International Women's Day. It originated as a day to fight for voting rights and an end to discrimination against women, but these days it has shifted focus to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.
I don't have an appropriate card, but as I was looking, I came across this one, sent to me by a friend a good many years ago. While I don't really have any particular achievements to celebrate, this does reflect my attitude to housework perfectly!

ReplyDeleteA classmate at school once threw a cup into the sink in a fit of rage and broke all of the dinner dishes. I so wished it were my night to clean up that night!
