Unmistakably Ireland, I think: green fields, sheep, low cottages in the distance, a rugged coastline. I must go back soon. According to the reverse of the card, it's the Beara Peninsula, west Cork.
Certainly is the Emerald Isle. What struck me when we lived there were the number of homesteads that had been abandoned and fallen into disrepair. Land is abundant, I guess, but living off it is not so easy.
Definately a beautiful spot on this earth.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Ireland before, but I would love to visit.
