I recently added to my Postcrossing profile that, although I don't collect stamps at all, I do enjoy seeing interesting ones. A short time later this lovely, extra-large, card showing an old map of Ukraine arrived. I was happily absorbed in the detail and then I turned it over!
I don't think I've ever seen quite so many stamps on one card before.
This is a post for Sunday Stamps, now hosted by Violet Sky at "See it on a Postcard!"
That card would be a trophy that I would hang on to with stamps like that on the back.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card and stamps. ^^
ReplyDelete@Bob, that may well be where it ends up. It's far too big for my albums.
ReplyDelete@Nina, hello! Thanks for visiting. :)
I love old maps, definitely a card to treasure. I always like it when people put lots of stamps on but was wondering how they had managed to fit so many on this until I read your comment to Bob. Ah.
ReplyDelete@Joy, it's very large! And the stamps aren't small ones.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a stamp album in itself!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great mini-collection of stamps. It takes a big card to fit more than a couple.
ReplyDeleteHow unique Sheila that you chose the Ukraine today. If you go to my blog you will see a picture of Linda and a waitress that served us two days in a row that is from the Ukraine. We literally fell in love with her accent and unmistakable sweetness. We often find that people from Europe treat people nicer than citizens of this country when serving. Have a great rest of the day.

Wonderful postcard and a bonus to have so many pretty stamps.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, a real treat. Thanks for sharing with Sunday Stamps.
ReplyDeleteSee? The beauty of flipside - stamps galore!
ReplyDeleteAlso, a concordant stamp on the picture side would've made a nice maxicard...:)

What a gift to receive such a card with its treasure of stamps. It is a fun hobby you've developed, Sheila!
ReplyDeleteWhat a big WOW, Sheila!
ReplyDeleteThe back of the postcard with all these stamps are as fantastic as the front :D
