A Month of Letters

Traditionally dressed Russian children writing letters opposite each other

Tomorrow marks the start of February and the start of A Month of Letters 2013 and because the commitment is :
During February, to mail at least one item through the post every day. Write a postcard, a letter, send a picture, or a cutting from a newspaper, or a fabric swatch.
To write back to everyone who writes to you. This can count as one of your mailed items.
I'm sure I average one postcard a day and I'd like to write more letters so - here goes!  Fabric swatches, probably not.

This is the second time I've featured this postcard from Russia, and also the second time I've received it, but it seems to me to fit the theme of A Month of letters very aptly.

  1. Lovely postcard. I haven't heard of a month of letters before, lovely idea as it's very nice to receive mail (especially mail that isn't bills :))

  2. this is such a beautiful postcard. In recent years, I barely send a letter or even a postcard at all. Even my bills,I pay mostly online.
