Trondheim, Norway

Postmarked Trondheim, dated 2006.
Norway
Trondheim, Nidarosdomen

The Nidaros Cathedral is the largest medieval building in Scandinavia and considered the most significant church in Norway. The building was started in the 11th century and finished about 300 years later. It is thought to have been built over the grave of King Olav who was declared a saint a year and five days after his death, resulting in pilgrimages to the site.

I particularly like the colours and reflections in this card which was sent to me on a pre-Postcrossing postcard exchange.
